As for other restrictions, I'm only going by what's posted on the state's website:

Alaska Statute 11.61.220 ... The possession of a firearm at courthouses, school yards, bars and domestic violence shelters will continue to be prohibited...

Alaska Concealed Handgun Permits - Permits and Licensing Unit
You can have the firearms, they just can't be loaded. Like in Denali, they have all those "No loaded firearm" signs

Nope. Don't need one of those, either. Don't drink wine. Besides, a CELLAR in ALASKA?? Oh, you are just TOO FUNNY!!

Had a little election dust-up, but everything is fine now. Cori got a little shaken (but not stirred) in a small earthquake in the valley. Rance got married - not really big news there (YES it was!!!), Warptman took a short vacation to Anchorage and Fairbanks. I went out to Kwethluk and Alaska Air lost my sleeping bag (found it as I was going back to Anchorage through Bethel).

No news is good news or so they say.

That's why they have GUNS. I wouldn't be adverse to "breaking a link" in the food chain to protect my dogs. In the case of HUMANS wanting to consume my dogs---that's why they make baseball bats!
