Default Community College in Alaska

Hi! I'm returning to school after taking a few years off to travel and learn from the School of Life. Now here I am, gearing up for a return to school to get a bachelor's in Natural Resources Management or something similar. I also want to live in Alaska for at least a few years. I lived in Homer for a summer working on a trail crew, and since then, I've always been yearning to return.

Ideally, I really want to go to school in Alaska, starting out in a community college, but the problem is, I know absolutely nothing about any of the CC's up there, and their websites don't seem to offer much.

I'd love to hear experiences of anyone who might have gone to community college in AK, or from anyone who knows anything about the schools! Do you have any advice?

There is the KPC (kenai peninsula college) near Soldotna. It's a community campus of the UAA. They have a campus in both Soldotna and Homer, and an extension site in Seward. You can check thier site here if you have'nt already:

I can't really tell you anything of the schools farther north.
