We have had 11 days straight of blue skies and sunshine here! Unbelieveable. I hope I don't get weathered in on Tuesday!

I have wanted to move to Alaska since I was a kid. I live in Alabama. What is the real deal about all these available single men in Alaska?

They are everywhere, of course. All rich and all stunningly handsome and exceedingly well mannered, generous, hard working, just like it says right on television. Good luck to you now.

Ok, you want the real skinny on most alaska men?

We're completely undesirable acording to lower 48 standards.
We have and hold a job. Loose one, and another is found most quickly. We're frugal with our $$$$, don't blow it on BS, have a hell of a work ethic, and respect everyone who respects us, and we respect our elders, women , and children.
And we're fiercly independent,,,i.e. we don't need a "mommy".
Which all of the above makes us completely incompatible and unexceptable to all lower 48 women.

yea, I know, here I go being negative again.....

glad to have you back rainy, hope all dreams and hopes come true on your new adventure.
IT WAS HOT AS HELL HERE TODAY!!!!!! It hit 68. Clear blue skies. The tourists were dumbfounded. This wasn't the Alaska in the booklet they were reading about.
Well, at least there was still snow in the elevations.....

Hit 78 here in Anchorage. Sweat city. Came home and thank God all the windows were open, it would have been sweltering.

Hinna, wasilla is a hick town for one, and two, I get sick of seeing drunk ass Russians everywhere. In fact the most news I hear from them is a)dying fishing and b)falling into the harbor drunk and dying. Before you start putting other people down, maybe you should inventory yourself and your heritage, or move back to your own country
