Default From a Candle in the Window...

to having your entire home & yard festooned with thousands of multicolored lights that wink on & off to music... I'd like to see how Alaskans adorn their homes & cars for Christmas. In turn I hope that those of us in the lower 48 will also post some photos of our seasonal decorations.

That's funny Deb! I'd like to see a real photo of someone crazy enough to have put a Santa hat on a moose. That would deserve a special recognition for extreme & dangerous decorating skills.

Unfortunately, Buzzwinkle, or Bullwinkle as he was known throughout town, died last winter, probably from old age or natural causes. He had been photographed many times in his wanders through town, and was generally considered to be an urbanized moose.

I was always disappointed he didn't just get a set of Carharrts and hang out on the corner with all the other homeless.

Okay, I have at least started. We went and picked our first christmas tree today, keep in mind we've been married for two years this our third christmas together yet we've always had a borrowed tree. This is ours.... Wifey is happy which makes me happy. While we were there we picked up more lights had to get with the times and start getting some LED's. We have two strings up now with more to follow tomorrow, and for you doubters out there (you know who you are Deb) I will be getting on the ladder and climbing the little icicle lights to the gutter. I increased the life insurance on myself recently so if I do for some reason fall you all can have one heck of a winter wake for me......Happy holidays pictures will follow.
