If I recall correctly, they did a special about him also, it showed a lot of old black and white movies of him walking down the beach with a cane and bopping the bears on the nose that got too close.

I think I saw it on "Rain Country" some years back.

Maybe if I will run across it, I will post the address...

Not seen that but I'd like to....that would have most likely been video footage from the 30's or 40's
