Talking We're (coming) back!

It's a done deal. After 13 years in Texas we are finally coming back to Alaska. Ferry tickets in hand, (most) everything packed up, bye-bye party in place, house sold, etc. etc. We decided to return to SE but a bit further south than we lived before. Coming to Wrangell in mid January and cannot wait! I am beside myself with anticipation.

Any Wrangellites out here? (Or is it Wrangellians?) My hubby is retired military and I hold a MA in Clinical Psychology but don't know at this point if I even want to worry about working right away. Much prefer to settle in and get to know our new home. Both of us like hunting & shoooting sports, fishing, and I love cooking, even have some training but no degree. Anyhoo would love to hear back from y'all!

Thanks for all the good wishes and the jealousy too! If the shoe was on the other foot, I'd be in the green too! Excited doesn't begin to speak for how I feel....my inner child wants to go NOW and my inner grown up is insisting on all the proprieties being covered...I think my inner grown up needs to go stand in the corner.

12 days to go....See ya soon!
