Nephler,
That was hot and looks like fun.
Thanks for that video. I'm sending a the link to a couple of buddys.
It looks a little risky in just not getting crushed, plus you've got to make sure you go UP and not another direction.
On the plus side - at least you don't have to pay for a lift ticket for the airplane ride, to climb a tower or get to a cliff.
I wonder what the sport should be called?

LOL, I'd like to see about ten other people do this first, without any mishaps, then......YEAH, looks like a good possibility for an adrenalin fix. I really love adrenalin!!!

You know you could probably remove a lot of the risk by getting shot out of a cannon of some sort (might just be a can of worms). Not worried about the chute and deployment. BASE rigs should open with plenty of time. My big concern is really going UP - and high enough to give the chute the alt it needs to do it's job.
I knew a couple of guys who wouldn't hesitate. Unfortunately they aren't around anymore. Calculate the risk - if it's acceptable - go for it.

They probably are using the same base rig from the ones that didn't make it.
But it would be a rush.
