They are located in an area known as Skansen on the outskirts of Stokholm. At Christmas the place is booming. Candle makers, goldsmiths, old timey printing, just lot's of old fashioned stuff to see and watch them at work. One house had women making cookies in an old time kitchen setting. It was all very interesting to see.

Great pictures Rance, very rustic...old world, almost magical at this time of year...Is nice to see so much of that in "modern" times taking place on a regular basis

Thanks for the pics Rance, I'm fascinated by that fence it looks like it uses twigs for binding the rails. Never seen anything like it before. It looks as if the two of you are having a great time. Merry Christmas to the both of you and the Bug. Hope he's doing well.

We have been eating and hiking and baking and gift wrapping. Looks like the northern lights are out pretty good right now but the sky has clouded up. It's supposed to snow tomorrow so it will be a fair trade. This could very well be my first Christmas with no snow! Ever!
I've got 10 or 20 more pictures I'll try to post in the AM.

Grill God those fences are the coolest. You see them all over. And yes they are tied together with roots, branches or baek strips. I've taken dozens of photo's over the last year and am planning on building one at my place in AK. I've already stockpiled a nice amount of poles. The hard part will be stripping the branches. Actually putting it up appears to be very easy.
