I have to go rent a pipethawing machine. I have reason to believe my waterline is froze from the well to the house. Fun times just got even better!

I haven't worn Speedos at any point in time in my life. I have enough of a body image problem without creating the opportunity for others to fall down laughing hysterically. I don't think my ego could take it. I'd have to move to Alaska or something!

All week the Wasilla area, south of Big Lake, had been spared. The roads were sloppy, but not icy until you got into Anchorage. That all changed last night with the rain and freezing temperatures.
With studded tires even! Poor Glitch...our road has been a rink since this all began; today it was actually fairly clear.

I actually saw something on the way to work this morning (before it started raining again) that made me pause and take a second look - DRY PAVEMENT!

I am so laughing at you. I was reading the part where everyone in Alaska was a "wimp" driving.......and "you were not."
Then LMHO, I get to this posting of the 180........
All I know is lucky for me in NJ when I did a 360......Oh yep.....All the way around. I was on a bend and going very, very, slow. If I had not driven that slow I might have been thrusted into the air.
Your weather sounds horrible. Wind and ice are never good. Looks like everyone will be home on their Wii's learning new sports..
