News on the radio stated a weak plume may have been spotted on satellite last night. Doesn't sound as though the geologists are getting excited about anything.

Yahoo news et al are reporting an eruption is 'imminent'. Fox News ran an article a few days ago stating that 'scientists fear Anchorage will be buried in ash.' Oooooh, the drama.
I haven't heard any booms this morning. Snowing to beat all hell. I am going to get my tire put on and gather some furnace filters.

I stopped by Dami's in Anchorage yesterday for lunch and had their Volcano Roll. It seemed appropriate.

Barely any filters left...geesh. One would think a volcano was going to erupt or something
Roads are packing up good...I loooove this Jeep. New tire is on and everything is gravy.
No masks to be found.

Now this is purty:
Is that a steam plume or cloud, I wonder?
AVO may be running on low band-width, but the webcam still works.

Keep refreshing on the AVO site, you'll get it once a spot is open. I have it up and running.

Have you checked Lowes, Home Depot, Spenard Builder's Supply, AIH, or the local pharmacies? Don't forget to pick up duct tape and visqueen (polyethylene) sheeting to cover up anything left outdoors. Also consider getting a spare air filter for your vehicle and a spare furnace filter (if you have central heating).

Redoubt: Seismicity at Redoubt is still well above background. Over the last hour, Redoubt has become visible by webcam and a steam plume rising just above the summit is present.
