My brother the photographer just called. He was on the beach in Kenai this afternoon and got some great shots of the last eruption. I am so pissed.

Brownish tint to clouds, looking towards Anchorage. It looks fairly high, I am on KGB about 7, 8 miles. Nothing on the ground yet that I can tell.

I was just outside, and yes, looks quite brownish in the clouds looking towards Anchorage.

Fortunately the wind is blowing enough up here so the ash isn't accumulating too much. Still, it's making a mess and there is a slight smell of sulphur in the air. Flattop is turning grey.
