Delta Junction is the place you want to start.
Lots of Russians there to help you get your feet on the ground. Plenty of them move to Fairbanks too.

We are experienced. We both BS holders. We worke in our local port here in Russia (We live in Far East of Russia). Our dad's are seamen. Whole our life we live by the sea. I worked in small ship and deckman. and my friend has experience only in port. But we are strong guys and would love to work in order to earn good money.
Thank you!

Delta Junction and Fairbanks are both well inland.
If you want to work on the water, you should consider the Port of Anchorage.
