The first album is when I drove down and back to Seattle in March. The next two albums were in August. The two 2007 albums were when I drove my parents down to Montana. I took a side trip to Salt Lake City via Idaho and returned through Wyoming. The Return album on the first page is going through Saskatchewan-Alberta-BC-Yukon.

Check the following link for restrictions on guns:

You can get guns through Canada, but you'll need to jump through all of the hoops and have their paperwork in order. I don't think you need to prove you bought the guns. Handguns are a bigger hassle to cross the border. Your other options are to ship the guns with your other items that will likely go by barge of mail them to yourselves.

I second the ferry. My first time up was on a cruise ship. I'd really love to see more of SE on the ferry.

Thanks for sharing the pics Nephler!! I think we're going to take the ferry like we planned (assuming he can get his official orders soon, in order to make reservations and get cabins). I'm sure the dogs will be okay, and I'll have sedatives for them just in case. Do you know if the ferry requires a certain type of kennel, like the airlines do? Unfortuantely I have a small dog with a small bladder that we will have to leave in a kennel inside the car.

They just require the dogs to be in the car is all. If I were you, I'd get as big a kennel as you can, that way your dog can move around more.
Try to get a cabin with what they call a sitting room (it's really just a small area), the windows are bigger and some are looking out over the bow.

I think I do, just have to hunt for them. They are not very big, so it's hard to get photos, though I know I have some looking out the windows, just to show the view.
