Red face over the mountains and through the fields

Hey guys,
I will be there in June. Finally!!! I was wondering going through Canada, will I have any problems taking my japanese sword or double bladed battle axes? I have a couple of long athames also. I know ya'll talked about guns, but I don't have to worry about that part. I already have my passport. Do I need anything else? Thanks for the help.

Well I can honestly say I don't have any of those in case of a bear attack or for moose hunting... But I would call Canadian Customs and ask them.

So, SCA or wiccan? LOL

Doesn't matter, as I have friends from both sides (way back in the dawn of time, anyway).

I don't know about pagans, but I'm sure there must be some practicing wiccans. But athames and swords could indicate a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism.

SCA - Two of my sisters are involved in that. One in Hawaii the other in Vancouver BC. Interesting stuff - they do put on a good show at various community activities. The lure and the romanticism.

It's funny, the google content sensitive ads for this thread have Swords in them. Sometimes they try really hard.

Mal, athames are going to be wiccans. Swords could be SCA or others.

I know that, Barkley! I read a LOT of SF and fantasy. It's the bane of my existence. Or is it part of my existential angst?
