Right Ed...and the Alaska Ferry only leaves Bellingham on Friday nights at 7 and late the following day you're up around Prince Rupert anyway....takes about 60% off the ferry fare

There is plenty to see on the water from Rupert up to Ketchikan (6 hours) and on up to Sitka, Juneau and Haines.

Its a very easy drive to Prince Rupert, or Rupert to Bellingham, up the Fraser River Canyon on great roads...
