We had halibut chowder with baby reds, carrots, bacon...topped with cripsy bacon & green onions, with parmesan bread to dip....
I cooked the bacon and the halibut in the oven...bad right....they have a chowder cookoff at a bar here in March, and think gonna call for the rules...will try another version with grilling the halibut and maybe some shrimp....hmmmmm pics of food are eye candy...

OKEEDOKIE, now I'm thinking the Bever,,,,,,
Yes Lord, I know. I promised and you have been good to us so,,,
Just kidding Granny.
These days I can't keep the weight on. Bouncing between 200 to 160 and then back up again. Holding in at 190 today. I run 5 miles a day out of habit and burn massive loads of calories just by breathing.

Man-guy has that issue if not running and not been for a while, he blames me for the problem, but I did not force him to open his mouth and put the spoon in...

Red blames me for every ounce if she tilts the scales over 130.
Our dogs hate it, absolutely hate it when I grab the leads in the morning. They won't go with me anymore, they'd rather have a nice leisurely stroll with their momma instead of the canyon runs I do. Lazy dogs...... and that's not a good thing when the big kitties are out and about.
My metabolism has been out of whack for the last two years after retreading.

The Finale
and that's that for the Chicken Dinner.
Soup and gravy stock. 2 1/2 hours on a mild boil. Pick the bones out and pour into mason jars 2 inches from top and freeze.
And the dogs love the bones. Don't worry bout them dogs, they eat bones from every thing. Even fish bones.
