The Seward Phoenix Log usually has advertisements for homes for rent, but it doesn't appear that they offer a subscription through the mail, and none of the ads appear on their website. So....moving on to "plan B"....
Try this:
Seward Property Management
Drop them a line inquiring about what you are looking for. I bet they can help. I'd try to get a home or apt lined up before May, because once the snow is gone the seasonal workers come here and take the available rentals (at least the cheaper ones)
As far as other information on Seward, you can Google for "Seward, Ak", "Seward Ak home rentals", and "Kenai Fjords National Park".
And....a web-cam view of the harbor area: http://cam.majormarine.com/
And...you can go to www.youtube.com and type in a search for "Seward, Ak" or "Kenai Fjords Park"....there's usually a few amateur video clips of the area...

You might search around in here:
rent apartments houses seward alaska - Google Search
If no luck there, get back to me after Friday...I'll go buy a copy of the Seward Phoenix Log and see what's advertised there...

I too have had a hard time finding a place to rent in Seward. We have a place now but would like to find something a little larger. I'd rather not go for broke.... but that does seem the Alaska way for rent . I've been told by coworkers that things will get better here as far as rentals after the summer season. There was a 3 bedroom on craigslist- we looked at it and it wasn't really big enough for us to warrant moving out of this rental (maybe 900 sq feet) but might work for someone without dogs and kids or less of them anyway

One thing to consider: there is a scattering of residential neighborhoods all the way from Seward to Moose Pass, some 28 miles to the north. That's only a half-hour commute, so don't be afraid to take a rental out that direction, if push comes to shove. It's normally an uncrowded, peaceful drive...even somewhat therapeutic...just a thought.
Anyway, the local paper (Seward Phoenix Log) comes out on Thursdays (it's a weekly)...anybody who wants info on rentals, I can do a scan of the ads and send it via PM to you then...let me know...

(more accurately: Bear Creek, Ak...7 miles north of Seward) (yes, there are bears here)
