I came back home shortly after Mackey got in.. it got VERY cold with a pretty thick ice fog out on the bay. I haven't been back out. Trying to convince myself it's worth it to go see a few come in today

Danged if Lance Mackey didn't do it again!!! Just amazing when you consider that this race is like racing from New York to Houston without the benefit of roads, bridges, pavement, well......I suppose the frozen Yukon could be considered as a form of pavement, same with the sea ice of Norton Sound. The weather conditions were truly rough this year, headwinds, serious wind chill, blowing snow, whiteouts, 1200 miles of it, "IMPRESSIVE", tain't even close. YEAH LANCE!!!!
