The Richardson Highway is a favorite, too.

Surprised that I haven't run into you there.... Headed there this afternoon as a matter of fact!

Have to go to Anchorage and get some of the smaller boats ready for this summer's work up North.

I've been all over the state. From Wrangell to Kuparuk, from the Canadian border crossing to Bristol Bay. I can't decide which is my fav. The peninsula seems to be a good central location and from there I can go any direction for good times and awesome scenery.

Had 80 miles of beach all to myself, big river beds to hike up and pan for gold. Lots of wild life, somewhat limited, but good hunting in the area. Surrounded by Ice burgs, eagles all over the place, fishing was good during part of the year........

I don't think many are willing to give exact locations, but should be able to give areas and still not worry about readers flocking to it.
I would tell you, but then I would have to kill you (and everyone else who read the post). So I'll spare everyone the blood shed and just keep it to myself.
