Default We should have seen this coming

Barack "bankrupt our grandchildren" Obama is using an end-around to go after gun owners. That slick-tongued socialist moron is using a little-known method to enforce his anti-gun ideology. He is well-aware that gun control legislation would ensure future congressional losses to his intellectually bankrupt party (the brain-dead narcissist Nancy Pelosi thinks that the term "multiplication" is a tool of the anti-abortion folks) so he's trying to screw us on the sly. Considering that Alaskans rely on firearms for myriad reasons far more than most other states, this could have a serious impact on us. Why should I be surprised?

Feds undercut civilian supply of ammunition

Yeah, and he's also trying to secretly end the armed pilots program. He's going to take every approach he can to hurt gun owners.

Ammo supplies is a different subject than someone posting a thread once a week asking how Alaskans like Palin, etc.

Yea, but these ammo recalls aren't helping the supply much either....

That is good news. Maybe now's a good time to stock up .223 and .308 brass before they change their minds again. Of course, good luck finding the primers!

Today, a very trustworthy friend told me that while visiting a gun shop yesterday, he personally saw people loading up an SUV with ammunition (in the DC suburbs). The SUV had FEDERAL government license plates! Now, we know the feds don't go out to stores to buy their ammo -- they get it privately -- so what gives?? I thought all this stuff was bunk, but now I believe it.

Maybe they were CONFISCATING it, not buying it. Wouldn't surpise me.
