They do carry straw for the dogs, anything else could get too warm for them and make them sick. They have to be careful when wearing the doggie coats that they don't overheat. yep...unless you've had the pleasure or should I say PITAJ(pain in the ass joy) of having a Malimute own you...you have no idea...our baby...we'd look out at several feet of freshly fall'n snow and see nothing in his huge pen....whistle and call him and like a periscope up would come his head with about a 3 foot cap of snow for a hat..had a beautiful insulated dog house...his attitude...don't need no stink'n dog house!!! He even ripped out all the insulation of his dog house!!
