I am a wedding photographer in Anchorage and I have two weddings in Big Lake this summer both at private homes on the lake. Both have mentioned that there is a bit of a view from the homes but both have also asked if I know any pretty places to take photographs around there.
So I'm looking for some places to take a bride and groom on a summer day for photos. Any gazebos out there?? Any areas with a pretty view of the lake without power lines, or anything else unsightly in the background that we can get to by driving? Anything unusual or cool like an abandoned cabin, an old bridge, area with some unusual trees, a fun park?? Anything?
Anyone have a B&B out there, or a lodge, that has a pretty deck/view/lobby that would be willing to let me take photos with a bride and groom? Just thought I would ask on here in case someone knows of a cool off the beaten path location. Thanks!
