Unhappy Looks like I'll be stuck in the lower 48 for a while longer.

Just got my offer from the UAF and it was almost 20% lower than my previous salary in Indiana, as opposed to the 25% increase I was hoping for.

The search continues...

Thanks for reminding me about that site. I had found it a while back through a post that made it's way on to Monster.com. I used it a couple times to search for various IT jobs, but hadn't visited it in a month or two. There is a perfect job out there for the Department of the Interior in Anchorage...and yes I know that's not really Alaska, but it would be a whole lot closer than Indiana. Now I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope that I get a call back for an interview.

Thanks Barkingowl...I feel a little more chipper now!

-Wes

You're welcome Wes! I might be one of the folks telling you to take off your shoes at the airport. I'm getting my resume up on there right now.

Thanks, I'll give them a ring tomorrow and see if I can't find someone to pass along my info to.

Thanks for the tip!
