Forecast is to be colder tonight and tomorrow morning, then snow Wednesday. We are coming into the deepest, darkest, coldest part of winter until February when we begin to benefit from the increasing solar energy.

My digital thermometer reads -13 right now here off Muldoon, although I must admit it may be off a few degrees.

Already -15 in Sterling. But I'm a mile off the highway up Moose River. It's a cold spot.

Have most of the pex pipe in place and will have running water again tomorrow! Will be nice to have!

The house is warm so running pipe is no problem. The pex pipe bends easily so saves a ton of 90's fittings. Connections are crimped with a metal ring so that goes very fast too. No torches, no hot solder dripping on everything, easy to get plastic pipe into crawlspace. What a great invention!

Hit 28 below as the sun started shining...but up to 25 below now. Hope this breaks soon!
