Northwest Illinois if I'm right would mean you aren't that far from Dubuque,Iowa unless our definitions of Northwest are different. 35 miles south of Terre Haute would bring you to around Carlisle on my side of the river and I think Palestine on your side of the river. Indy has been getting that much snow every season for the couple seasons. During the 1990's it was greater than that.
This picture was taken along Indiana 267 in Avon,Indiana during the February blizzard of 2009
This was from the blizzad when it was just moving in to the area.

Well MJ was a world icon. He was the King of Pop. I thought he was weird also even though he was acquited of molestation charges twice I still don't think he should have been alone with children. Something about him everytime I saw him on TV just didn't make me feel comfortable.

I haven't listened to his music in years, but I find his life truely sad. I grew up listening to Motown, grew up in the Detroit suburbs (hate to admit, but he was my age) and my oldest son grew up listing to his music also, he even had to have the zippered jacket from Thriller. Strange as he became, you can't deny he had talent enough to bridge races and generations.

I can remember when he started with his brothers, he was cute then...When you look at him now versus then, the lifestyle, accusations whether real or not, (but money can get you out of a lot)... His life and/or perception of it was a waste of what could have been phenomenal versus 'media charged' and a tragedy.

Everyone older than me says that they liked 1970's Michael much better than todays Michael. As with all things their were rumors he paid off all the jurors in both cases but rumors are rumors and I will not believe in them. I do think some of his fame was "media charged"
