Now I can focus on a trip to Sweden, my classmate's daughter is graduating from high school in May, they want me to attend. They've been in Sweden for about 15 years now. Would be a fun trip!

Hello. I am new here. I am looking for anyone that has advice on what is the best way to move stuff to Ak.

Sell it all and buy new when I get there or get a moving pod or rend a trailor?

Im coming from Fargo ND

There's no simple answer.....all depends what you got, what your finances are, what your expectations are, etc.
Your best bet is to search some threads here and review the postings other folks made as they prepared.
The "Pods" have been discussed here in the past and I can't remember if they ship them to AK or not.........
It can be a involved process depending on your circumstances.

No, we had the trailer shipped because the snowmachines were in it and we didn't want that pull since we came up at the end of october. Plus on the ferry, you pay dearly for that extra "length". We didn't have to pay for it though, work did. Had they not, we'd still be sitting in PA.......seriously.

Which part of Sweden you going to Warpt?

We have an interview in Stockholm for Sweden's greencard on the 11th of this month. So I should know where we'll be at after that. I return on the 13th, and start work on the 14th. Will be working 45 to 60 days straight with no time off. She probably won't come to AK until after that, and may be attending a University even longer. So there is a good chance we or she will be there.

A town called Vilhelmina. I'm still waiting on my friend's parents and family to get back to me on when they're heading over. It'll be at the end of May for a week or two.
