The point is that jumps are terrible not in height, but another thing - you can get used to them.

Have you read the book - Not spelled quite right, no russian letters on key board (BEPHHTOB MOCT) - Bering Bridge, The Soviet-American Expedition from Siberia to Alaska. By Paul Schurke - much about Chukotka and it's people.

Unfortunately I have not read the "Bering Bridge" (Берингов Мост) but I know about it. Everyone in Chukotka knows Paul Schurke very well.

That dosen't surprise me you know of it, as a writer he has a way of bringing you into it.
