We got an inch of snow overnight, expecting 1-3 inches today. I'm sick of winter!

Thats good to hear. I hear Ted Stevens Airport is closed or was closed due to the ash falling.

A week ago Saturday it hit 71 degrees, then Sunday it started to snow.
Here in Sundance we got hit slightly by the big storm they were talking about last week on the Weather channel. I say 'slightly' since we only got 30 inches of snow. Tonight they are forcasting another 18-24 inches and 25 mph wind to help pack it in the cracks. You guys are living 1100 miles farther north and my weather is worse. Totally not fair!

I like the Sundance area of Wyoming. I drove my parents down to Baker, Mt a couple years ago to visit my brother. On a side trip we went into North and South Dakota and then over to Devil's Tower. We had dinner in some joint on the main road in Sundance. Very pretty area. We're heading back down at some point next month, can't wait.

Yes, my father rang me with bragging rights on those temps...but then, it was only fair that I rang him in return when that storm hit there and we had 40 temps here

I told him I really couldn't -in all honesty- work up some sympathy You'll have some semblance of Spring long before we will here...these storms are just the way of it in Wyoming. I do miss the severe thunderstorms with a blizzard right behind this time of year, though!

There is always a big snow there about this time of year, will hopefully be your last. When we moved out there to finish our cabin about 5 or so years ago, it was mid May and when we went through Sundance was pushing 100 degrees...two days later about 38 and big pancake snowflakes flying around...
