Good idea for early planning....if I have warning I can put in to be off work . (And I'm not missing it and having Crossfire tell my embarrassing hunting stories without being there to defend myself!)

Would love to finally meet lots of folks we haven't yet!

I have to ditto GG's post - some of you here online have no idea how valuable you've been to us, both in person and in cyber-ville.

Deb - are you able to make a trip up, you think???
Way cool!

If she's not already here...I'm planning on risking entry denial and buying her a round trip ticket for a midsummer/fall visit. As long as we show proof she will return to Sweden, there should not be any problem coming over for a visit...if we haven't already got the OK to come over for good. Besides...I'm gonna need her help on the cabin and in the garden.

Well, my schedule is a little more sketchy, as I can be sent out of town at a moment's notice. Lucky me. Sometime this summer (God and the Army Corps of Engineers knows when), I will be tied up inside Elmendorf for 3 weeks of 14 hour days. Straight. And right now, I'm going up to Chalkytsik for 3 days in April. Several other trips as well including one to Dutch for 2 weeks coming sometime. But if I have a date, I can plead a prior engagement for a day. It all works. And I'll make a lasagne to die for.

Oh yeah, if I can have a stove for 20 minutes, I make garlic bread from real garlic. Heh, heh. 3 loaves no waiting.

It's the life I lead. I can't seem to get the ducks to line up sometimes.
