Default Library system in Juneau?

My family and I will be moving to Juneau fairly soon (hopefully this summer) and we have all the technicalities figured out, but the one question I simply forgot to find an answer to is how the library system is in Juneau.

I currently reside in Las Vegas and the library district here is excellent. They are organized, quick, and abounding in books and if my home library doesn't have the books I need I put in a request and they drive the book over from a different library within a few days. I visited the Juneau Libraries website and tried searching for a book but it was a little confusing and they didn't have most of the books I looked for, but I read that they ship the book you want in from different towns in Alaska or something. Is this true? What do you think of the Juneau Libraries?

The Juneau library is part of the State library system. If the library doesn't have the book and it exists in the State library system, you can request the book and it will be delivered to the local branch. I believe the university is part of a western region library system so the local university can get about any book. I'm not certain if the Juneau libraries can take advantage of this too or if you need to go through the university.

I would like to say that posters who know absolutely nothing about what they're talking about should refrain from posting.

Douglas has a public library as well as Juneau. They are both good.
