Bethel's airport is the third busiest in take off and landings in Alaska. It's a fun place to hang out, at the 18 end of the runway is very close to the state highway.

There is a couple of them here in Alaska, one is slowly rotting away at Merril Field, hasn't moved in a bunch of years... Maybe I can post a photo of it when we pull into the port of Anchorage in the next week with the boat, unless someone can beat me to it.... hint, hint...  |
