Try Travelocity.com or Priceline.com...I got a price of $334 for one-way from Kansas City to Anchorange, it was just under $600 for round-trip.

delete your "cookie" in your computer and you will get the old price! it is a scam that airlines do and should be illegal but isn't..

If it was a scam...I'm sure Travelocity and Priceline would have caught on by now.

I went through Yahoo Travel twice and the last time to Alaska Airlines direct. I got a nonstop flight from Phoenix to Anchorage for less than $250, but then again, i was closer than you are. Good Luck. One way ticket.
