There are so many loggers out of work, that there is zero chance they would hire an Israeli. They don't even hire greenhorn Americans. I'm not sure what your idea of "good money" is, but perhaps you can clarify. My guess is that the only jobs you have a chance at are those paying minimum wage, because anything paying more is in demand given the worsening unemployment situation. It doesn't really seem like this is a good time to head to the US for work. Might want to find a different country which isn't in an economic depression.

It's not only spam but it's discriminatory and illegal if they are only hiring women.

ummm Seasonal jobs are already underway for this year. When I worked for Westmark they started their foreign hiring late fall, according to my roommate, for the following summer. Also, according to her, you have to have a roundtrip ticket and were not allowed to go sightseeing out of the area while here. No crossing border or state lines.... Really restrictive as far as I understand. I would guess if you can't get a tourist visa you probably won't be able to convert your work visa to one, if that is even possible.

Post looking for job

Hello, I'm from Syria and I'd like to work in Alaska for a long time, I have no visa to the US and I heard that there are employers that could get me a work visa.

My question is: How do I find an employer in the US that could get me a visa?

I heard that there are jobs working as a assistant pharmacist ,any info?
I'm strong and willing to work hard. How much this job pays usually? Also, which city in Alaska is the most popular for jobs like this?

I don't know much and hope I'll get some information.

Thanks you.
