I miss Kaladi Brothers coffee ... that's what I used to drink when I lived in AK. The coffee shop next to Tidal Wave served it ...

There is this place in Greensboro, N.C. that roasts beans daily, various types of beans according to the orders for the day. I usually get 3lbs/month, fresh roasted, full of flavor, a blend of two different types of beans that I figured out years ago. I buy whole bean, grind it finely, just before I brew. I do not refrigerate, but, do keep in an airtight cannister that is thick enough not to let in light as well. Sunlight robs flavor.

My dad use to drink Sanka. Don't think I have ever tried it.

Sanka is like TANG, the powdered orange juice mix that went to the moon, it had its heyday in the '70s.

Any brand of coffee works for me, as long as it contains a splash or two of Bailey's Irish Cream. Accept no substitutes!
