Default Seward fort and other Kenai oddities

I thought I'd start a new thread about interesting oddities on the Kenai such as the fort on Barwell Island in Resurrection Bay
by Seward.

Does anyone have more info or pics of this fort?

Fort Raymond, Alaska (Military History)

It says here that the Barwell Island site housed the fire control and searchlight equipment for Ft. Raymond in Seward.

Default Ooops

Oops... Sorry... Here I'll try again. I'm not sure what went wrong the first time though so hopefully it doesn't happen again. Everything looked okay with the previews

So does anyone know how I could delete my first entry?? I'm new to posting pics.. I've always just liked looking at the others. I've heard that it's hard to get to this fort- it's hard to land on the island and then you should only be an experienced rock climber to try to get to the top. I've heard there's also a Cain's Head fort and one on rugged island. It's just so much fun to try to play on stuff you're not allowed on...
