Perhaps when you learn to spell sandwich properly I will give you online instructions about how to best prepare one.

I have read real horror stories about what goes on, conditions, etc., in even some of the finest 5-star restaurants over the years. Anytime you eat out at anyplace there is always the risk of unsanitary conditions and food-borne illnesses.

Maybe she can make you some of those "special" brownies, but I don't want to stick around for the results, that other thread was enough LOL I'm sure they'd cheer you up well, for a time...

Did you bake the bread yourself?

Before the offspring escaped into the real world, bread baking was a ritual in my home. I use a double rise recipe, so it took quite a bit of time. Fireweed honey and scalded milk are a couple of the ingredients. We would always have a warm piece of bread with red wine or hot chocolate at the end of the day.

Well I worked for a short time at a restaurant...there's a reason I don't eat out...

Fast food places are the worst (I know someone who found a condom in their burger at the local burger king...) but you find bad people at even the good restaurants (usually the lower paid people like waiters...).

Oh yes., the brownies I just made some the other day and also prepared a very nice Frangelico sauce to drizzle over them. They were quite an experience.

I would dearly love to open my own restaurant that served such delicacies.

Those pesky feds are an annoyance, aren't they? I do wish they would find better things to do than harass harmless citizens.

Well, gotta put those worthless bureaucrats and JBT's to use somewhere Met, and harmless citizens are easier to go after than the real dangerous people.

But that's okay, someday we're all going to be criminals, once they make enough laws...
