Default Swine Flu may have sailed up

Yes the swine H1N1 flu may have hit Alaska.
Apparently a cruise employee was ill on the trip up from San Francisco.
But as she was on anti-virals before hitting AK they can't say for sure
she had swine (but it's likely they think).
Question is how many passengers did she possibly pass this little
vacation gift on to?

People are still concerned about this? From what I read this thing is killing less than the normal seasonal flu and its only taking people with prior conditions (heart anomalies, asthma, etc...). I think three people have died from it in America so far? There will probably be more deaths today attributed to people not wearing safety goggles. I was kind of hoping Brett Favre rumors would kill this story off, but apparently not.

It may get much worse later, or, not. It has experts worried because of similarities to the strain that killed millions in 1918. We'll see...but it kinda figures the cruise ships would bring it to Alaska...

I am not big on conspiracy theories at all but i find it very curious that the house and senate pass Obamas budget that doubles the deficit spending next year not even counting the stimilus bill during the week we have swine flu panic. As soon as the the budget doesnt get a whisper of news coverage the threat gets really small?
I may be crazy so feel free to blast away i have just been in Cali to long. Currently we are voting in a special election on propositions to tax more and curb govt. spending to cure our budget. The funny part is the head of the senate says as soon as this passes the first thing they need to do is remove the 2/3 vote needed to raise taxes????? I thought this election was going to fix everything ?? why do we need more taxes?

Some UN scientist said it was created in a lab as a weapon. May not be far fetched, our government has done things like exposing civilians to radiation in the past for experiments, and of course, Operation Northwoods proposed killing civilians to create a war, then there's Reagan's Rex 84...

If all goes well it will only be my fair state for a couple more months! We wanted out by June so we could claim Alaska residency for taxes next year but that isnt going to happen with unexpected surgery next week.

So it will take them a decade more to get to AK and take over the snowblowing industry
Truth is America is changing, and changing fast. Either people adjust to this new reality or they die out feeling betrayed and cheated of what was thought as a given rite, the american dream. It is still alive for people whose home countries have annual income levels of... chump change. It is no more a country where you get a good job and can retire from it. Job market is for the survivalist type. And wages have no relation to living costs or real estate prices. Or car prices for that.
Maybe massive public work projects will change that but in the end someone has to pay for it.
8 years ago we had a budget surplus. Two little wars later we have thousands of solders dead, hundred of thousands going off the wall and a budget hole like the black hole. Never mind the World wide financial meltdown.

I was notified this evening that there are two cases of Swine flu in Alaska. One in Anchorage and one in Skagway. I haven't been able to verify this as of yet. Will do that tomorrow.
