Let this be a lesson learned that you NEVER sign over the title to a vehicle until you have ALL OF THE FUNDS in YOUR bank account. Unless its your own mother, then feel free to rip her off.

We did NOT sign over the title. The other party signed theirs over.
We are not fools, and would never do anything that stupid.

It just pisses me off about the deal. My word is my word, too bad others aren't. F them!

All is well really, we have the truck back, along with $250, and they have their car.

These folks sound like real slime. Nasty as a fungal infection. Glad you got the truck back, but I would have notified the authorities concerning their attempted sale of the vehicle to whuch they didn't have a clear title.

Sounds like a scam of some sorts.

We thought hard about calling, but just wanted out, didn't want any hassle. The attorney we talked with said to do about the same Mal, but we just didn't want the bull.

Hell, it was really a good deal for both sides, oh well.

The funny thing is, that we still have the title to their car that they signed over. We could be aholes and force them give us the car, but that's not me, I'm not that way, I believe in doing by a mans (persons) word. They will get the title back, they just need to know, don't f with us.

Hey Deb, we are going to get down your way, come hell of high water, soon. Really want to meet up with you guys.
