I've got three axes, one hatchet, two mauls, two wedges. It'd be mighty cold without them.

I have 1 axe, 2 hatchets, and 1 splitting maul. Oh, yes, and 1 wedge just in case.

This thread reminds me of the made-up shopping lists I would create on a piece of notepad paper then leave in an empty basket in the store for someone to find.

Sample one may look like:

Duct Tape
Sledgehammer
Bleach
Shovel
50 Feet of Rope
Cement
Condoms
Skittles

Always got to throw something like a card or candy on the end just to make people wonder.

I have an awesome ax, made in Sweden, worked wonders for me at the lake. Broke the handle, that's still to be fixed. And a variety of sledges, a wedge... longing for hydraulic log splitter though. Not that I am lazy- I love splitting wood.

I'm shopping for one now. I had few stolen from me some time ago. Than used little electric ones for fire wood limbs etc. Now I need to deal with some 2' driftwood logs. Stihl.
