Well finally found out, I will be starting work in Anchorage 15JUL09, working for ADOT&PF.

Can't wait to meet more Alaskans and slowly make myself one of them. What an awesome state with great people and beautiful lands!

Promise not to bring the "well below (lower 48) we did...." attitude

Working in the Preliminary Engineer side, Environmetal Coordination, but I will do what ever they ask! Have a good design, construction, surveying, and environmental permiting back ground related to highway projects. I am sure I will learn even more up there, open mind baby!

summer, fall, winter, spring, or just winter and summer...I am good with it all. I have cloths to keep me warm, dry and cool if need be. It is beautiful all the time up there!

Do want to fish in the summer though, oh so very bad! Heck if I can find someone to take me around fishing they can have the fish, well at least this yr... Just so fun to catch.

Here's a thought, How about some of the Alaska C/Ders (men) pitch in some coin and get a charter for some halibut. Split the cost on gas getting there and the boat. Put some meat in the freezer. You know " Early to bed, Early to rise, Fish like Hell and Make up Lies!!!"
