I am sure someone posted something about the climate already but

Rainfall in southeast Alaska ranges from 80 to 220 inches a year. The wettest months are October and November, the driest May and June. Dress for waterlogged conditions, with waterproof outerwear and changes of warm when-wet inner layers.

If you move to Alaska, I have the place for you... STERLING! C-D says there are supposed to be more Swedes there, but I never saw any.

Åh, hur kan du ens fundera på att flytta från Småland nu i underbara, varma, sköna gröna maj? Vänta till vintern
