Hi I am looking to move to nome or barrow...same job offer in both places but need a place to rent...i also have a service dog so if i am going to rent a room in someones house they should know before hand. Any help or suggestions would be helpful... i can move up once i secure housing so the sooner the better. Thank you

Housing in Nome or Barrow is usually pretty tight. Your best bet is to see if your employer can give you some leads.

Tight housing. You might need to think about getting rid of the dog. Regardless of your need for it many landlords in these places don't allow any kinds of pets due to increased cleaning costs. This is the wrong time of year to be looking for housing.
