Thanks everyone. Whewwwwwwwwww been a busy week. We just got our cable hooked up today. Getting my house back to how I like it. I am thrilled we are back especially for the summer and yes I can breathe and sleep a whole lot better. Husband was never happy to leave but figured he'd give it a try for me and he is real happy now to be back! Even our dogs went crazy sniffing all over and they are so much happier and relaxed. It was a wild ride, one I hope and pray to never repeat. It's true, Alaska gets in the blood. Again, thanks everyone for the welcome.

The commute is only 12 minutes, BTW.

Yes hoping someone nice would see it and help with some answers. But I can see there aren't many nice people out there...even in Alaska. |

Be patient about the questions you asked; this is a busy time for people in Alaska and this board has been pretty slow because of that. No need to post it over and over again.
Personally I wouldn't do the commute if I had a family to consider, especially a child in daycare; your daycare provider needs to be a lot closer to your workplace. I don't know who told you the commute was 15 minutes but they lied.

Really. I saw your posts and the tight expectations you have for what would be acceptable for you upon arrival. There is a term for it. I know it as "anal retentive".
