Not at all; just pointing out, once again, that people visit Alaska from all over the world and that a good majority of them tend to be seasoned travelers. I figured you might not know that

Hi...I shop in Eagle River often and just returnd from a visit to Farbanks. I did not find Fairbanks to be more expensive. The Walmart Supercenter had good prices. I would feel comfortable shopping there. Hope you have a great trip!!!!

That's just the information I was looking for! We'll have to pick-up a few things in Eagle River (or thereabouts) to get us through the first couple days but will wait until we return from Barrow for most of our shopping! Only eight days till we head to Alaska!!!
