I used to like David Letterman, back when he used to be funny. Nowadays he seems more and more like a bitter old liberal apologist, forever stuck in the same old rut. His latest potshot at the Palin family is a low blow, even for him, it's sad.

I agree. He should apologize at the very least.

Uh...I don't waste much time with television, but I believe he did issue an apology of sorts.

Celebrities really don't interest me though. I hardly know who any of the new ones are anymore.

I wonder how much the governor's latest trip cost the state...she sure is sticking her mug in the limelight at every possible chance.

Default I wonder about that too.

Yeah, all that jetting around...who's paying for it? I wonder about that too. I suspect it's probably leftover campaign cash or slush-fund money from the Republican national groups. I sincerely hope it's not the state of Alaska.

Nevertheless the election is over, why all the leftover hate? Their guy won, isn't that what they wanted? What is it about Palin that so offends the liberal hardcore types that they have to keep bashing her and her family?

BTW jeepejeep, you might want to check your account settings, I tried to PM you but it got kicked back.

How about that pipeline deal....

Disillusionment with Palin isn't just for liberals anymore.

I think she spent all of the Republican $ ransacking Neiman Marcus.

It's the sense that she's campaigning for '12 on Alaskan time and money and not attending to the business of the state that is the most common complaint I've heard about her on the island recently.

The trip was paid for by her "political action committee". Guess she finally learned something -..she has until June 23rd to repay the state about 10K for other trips she took.

SarahPAC - Sarah Palin's Official PAC

So she's just bilking private citizens now...nbd; it's their money to lose. She even has a legal defense fund set up.

Visit The Alaska Fund Trust at www.thealaskafundtrust.com, the official legal defense fund for Governor Sarah Palin and family.

Alaska Politics Blog : It's on: Exxon and TransCanada anounce pipeline partnership (Updated) | adn.com

Looks like they are making some progress at least. Good for Sean Parnell.

David Letterman has become a crotchety old Liberal. I'm sure he intended nothing creepy about the Palin's daughter, but in general, he's become unwatchable. For someone who was raised with midwestern values, he's gone too wacky for me. I'm glad he finally married the mother of his son, at least.
