I want to take the kids to Jim Creek to watch fishermen, women catch fish.
I have never been there.

By looking at this google map, MAP It looks like No way in by vehicle.

Google maps have been dead wrong before, I have found that out.

Does anyone know if you can drive up to Jim Creek?

I've driven to Jim Creek in the winter in my Jeep. It may be a bit muddy in spots this time of year, but the trail is drivable in summer also. In Butte, turn towards the race track, less then a mile past the track you will see trails, and a large parking area for ATV's, turn on one of the trails a follow, you'll end up just short of the creek. You can them drive along the edge of the river to Jim Creek. This time of year I would not go alone, take another 4X4 with you with good recovery gear.
