Anyday I can be outside is the perfect day! Love to sit out in the yard by the pond & read..peaceful when the squirrels don't get the dogs yapping. Kayaking the marsh in the spring & fall is awesome too. Of course it would all be that much better if I was doing that up there!

I find working in the garden or mowing the lawn is my meditation. But I also can sit on a rock out at the lake for hours and just listen to the birds.

I agree, but we have had pouring rain off and on the last couple days...now the sun is shining, go figure... but I swear I can watch the grass (weeds too), growing with this...you will need to get a goat or something when you get back to mow, if this keeps up...

The best way for me to relax is to get out for a hike some where, it takes my mind off everything but what is around me.

My way of relaxing is either to fly, be on a boat, or kick back and watch a movie. My comfort food is pasta.

I have to say boating. I am into Switzer boats, that were manufatured in Crystal Lake, Ill. Light, fast hulls. Last flood wrecked my 16' red one... I am restoring a 1974 17 1/2' SS model now. I have a 175hp Merc v-6 outboard for it that should be good for wild hairdo's
And just regular fishing jon boats for fishing in a quiet spot for hours and hours. Or bank fishing for catfish and having a bond fire 'till wee hours.
And military planes. Awesome stuff, from times when airplanes were real machines: rivets, pulleys and cables. .50 cal machine guns

Comfort food?
and such... love travel (eat very little than), love home theather, live music. Life is so short...
