HEY to everyone in Alaska again. I just read something about a possible snob threat and you Alaskans were all over it. You cared enough to both educate and welcome the person. I like that. It demonstrates a real sense of community and unanimity in state pride and values. "Hats off" to all of you. I think this is a precious, but rare quality. We could use more of that in AZ, the place where I will be coming from. I can hardly wait to become a part of your community.

Default Sun Queen...

Sun Queen - where will you be living when you move to Alsaka? And where will you be working? I am living vicarously through others who make the bold decision to move to Alaska. Someday it may be me. But in the meantime will hang on to your words and experiences! and pics I hope!!

Jehnifer, you can make that decision too! I was set on Anchorage because I just thought it would be the easiest starting place, but I received helpful info from these good Alaskans about places outside the city. I just maybe bold enough to move all the way to Sterling. But if you decide to move maybe we can be bold together. I think the more the merrier. I have not decided about work, but I have time to do a little more thinking. Hope I will see ya somewhere in AK
