Default Autism resources in Fairbanks?

Does anyone know if there is a pscyhologist, or psychiatric counseling center, in Fairbanks that specializes in (or at least understands) adult autism?

I have Aspergers, and a condition of my continued disability benefits is that I have to get periodic treatment and review... as if a congenital neurological condition will just suddenly disappear

I had a pretty hard time finding a psych here in Seattle that specialized in adult Aspergers and autism. I notice that if there are any resources for autism, it's almost always geared towards children, not adults. Guess autistic children live in NeverNeverLand where they never have to grow up into adults

Cece P is on a distinguished road
Not sure if you're looking for a psych in Seattle...? Cary Terra (I think a marriage family therapist?) specializes, does great work. Good luck. Cece

Social Security is not required to hire client medical reviewer with any medical experience!! Unbelievable isn't it???

Cece - Another excellent autism specialist in the Seattle area is Meredith Sargent, PhD... her office is out in Woodinville, but she is probably the best shrink I've ever dealth with.

BlueFlame -- tell me about it!! They sent me to an independent reviewer who did psych out of her house... which was a total mess and had all sorts of distractions. Just the sort of place NOT to send someone with Aspergers!! EEDDIOTS!!! If she hadn't had a really cool cat, I probably would have lost my mind!
