I know of no one who visits Alaska for its architecture. Those who do are clearly lost, mentally impaired, or both. People visit Alaska for the fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, wildlife viewing, scenery, and numerous other outdoor activities. Nobody cares what the buildings look like, and if they do, they certainly do not belong in Alaska.

Rotorhead you are spot on with Frank Lloyd Wright.
Built amazing looking stuff but dang it is crumbling and leaking like a sieve.
Love Ennis House in Los Angeles (house in Blade Runner) but it's falling
down in several parts and has alot of structural problems. Now if you have
a spare $15 million hanging around and a need to do some repair work this
could be yours.

That looks like the place on the Sue, never got to see it up close, maybe this next trip I will drop down a bit!

Do you know any of the history to it?

Yep, that's the place.

I have heard a few things about it, but I have not verified them. I imagine the story is interesting, whatever it is.

Here's an "ugly" house that just needs a bit of a fix up. Think I'd love to live there, it's in Craigie Creek Valley.

Closer...

I think I would think twice, if there is an earthquake that rocks it's world...could be bad... but, it is definitely a fixer-upper...

Might have been trees there at one time. But they chopped them all down to build a cabin!
